About Us
We have produced this website to provide you with information about the way the Practice is organised and the services that are provided directly by Practice Staff, or by other members of the Primary Health Care Team. Services will, by necessity, change from time to time, please do not hesitate to telephone the Practice to check the current position.
To Register with the Practice
You will register with the Practice, rather than with any named doctor. We do not run a 'named Doctor list' system here, so although you may wish us to record the name of your preferred doctor by telling the Receptionist at the time of your registration we are happy for you to see any of the doctors here as the need arises.
It is best to see the same doctor each time you attend for the same problem. However not all the doctors are here all of every day, so if you want to see a particular doctor you may have to wait until their return.
New Patients
As a new patient you will be requested to attend the Medical Centre to enable us to plan your health care and have an initial health check... blood pressure, urine test etc.
We shall ask you about any allergies you have, and any history of illnesses in your family that might affect you in the future.
Temporary Residents
We are always happy to see any relatives or friends staying with you if they need a Doctor or Nurse. They will need to fill out a short form for the information to be returned to their own Doctor. Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to allow time for completion of the necessary forms.
Access for the Disabled
Access from street level is suitable for the disabled, wheelchairs, prams etc with a slight ramp from street level to ground floor, and a 'push pad' door opener. Reception, two consulting rooms, one treatment room, and a toilet suitable for disabled/wheelchair users are all on the ground floor. Flights of stairs alone lead to the rest of the premises.
